Daai Gaa Hou! We are back and excited to share about the recent Overseas Alumni Chapter (OAC) Guangzhou event held at Conrad Guangzhou on 3 November
2023. This gathering was a resounding success, uniting esteemed alumni for a day brimming with meaningful discussions and engaging activities and we're excited to share the vibrant highlights.

We kickoff the event with lunch and networking before commencing the event, and it was heartening to see our alumni engaged in conversations, reminiscing their shared memories of their SIM days, sharing their experience after graduation and building connections with their peers. Following lunch, we started the event with a warm welcome address from Dr. Timothy Chan, Vice Provost of SIM Global Education, setting a positive tone for a day dedicated to learning and networking. To get our alumni to know one another better, this time we included icebreaking games to allow alumni to share personal anecdotes and spark meaningful conversations.

Injecting some learning component to our event, we invited industry expert Ms. Agnes Chen, Director from HRnetOne who shared valuable insights on the Core Skills That Help You Stand Out in the Workplace. Her sharing equipped our alumni with actionable strategies for achieving professional success. Continuing the momentum, we have invited distinguished alumni speaker, also our Pro Tem President, Mr. Zhang Ying Peng, Sales Director from Guosen Securities to share about the Financial Management Market and Bond Market.

We would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate our Guangzhou OAC president, Mr. Zhang Ying Peng. Jay will play a pivotal role in steering the chapter's activities and fostering a vibrant alumni community. Our alumni in Guangzhou can look forward to such fun-filled events and opportunity to connect with their peers.

We would like to extend our gratitude to all attendees for making the OAC Guangzhou event a memorable and enriching experience and look forward to more gatherings as such that will bring our alumni community closer together.
